And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

Entrepreneurs are the future makers. They have a vision of the future, it will have their successful company involved. And they are the ones to bring that future to light. They inherit the future, because they are the ones who create it.

If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -

24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Entrepreneurs will think about their business, how to make it better, how to hold off the competition, how to land the next customer. 60 seconds every minute. It takes dedication, determination, and persistence to succeed. But the alternative is failure.

If all men count with you, but none too much;

Every person on this planet has value and worth. They are all the same; individuals.

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

People you love will question you. Recognize that their concern come out of their life experience and ignorance. They want what is best for you. But they don't know the entrepreneur world. Let the have their say. And thank them for their input. But most of them do not know startups.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;

You will have to respond to both the kings of commerce, your customers and your investors. As well as with the stakeholders your employees,

your suppliers, and your neighbors. You will need to guide your own path through them. Not swaying like a grass to the breeze nor being an

And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

Determination and courage are vital qualities to have as you embark on the unknown. The will to hold on is important. And the courage to change and follow through on the transition are equally vital.

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone,

Use all the available resources to the maximum extent. When things are impossible, stop. But if you are sure that real success is available

make a path towards it, and don't falter simply because things get a little rough.

And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your loss;

Restarting is a continual event with serial entrepreneurs. Some successes and some losses. The important element is learning a lesson from the losses and not repeating the same mistakes. But once you've learned the lesson, little is gained by whining over your loss.

If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

Do you have the stomach to follow your convictions? Take everything
you have and put it down on one shot? Your reputation, savings,
assets and resources and put them on the line? There is no secure
safety net. Entreprenuers and their companies live and die on their
own merits. If you can't survive without a subsidy or a support
structure, then when it disappears so will you.

There is risk in every stage of startups. There is risk in everything you do.
